	Theda L. Martin, age 83, of DuQuoin died on Monday, May 16, 2005 at 2:25 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled Care Unit.
	Theda was born on February 5, 1922 in St. Johns, a daughter to Oscar and Bessie (Brown) Moss.  She married William David Martin on February 5, 1966 and he preceded her in death on October 2, 1980.  She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Du Quoin and a member of Hope Rebeccah Lodge #15 and L.E.A. Matt Davison Camp #31.  Theda enjoyed playing the piano, reading and crocheting.
	Survivors include one step-daughter: Christina Martin Zuelke of Newton, Kan., two step-brothers: Victor Woodside and special sister-in-law, Charlotte of Du Quoin, and Clinton "Woody" Woodside of Anna, one step-sister: Nellie Fogarty of Indianapolis , Ind., one sister-in-law: Mary Moss of Castle Rock, Wash., four grandchildren, David Zuelke and wife Diane, DeAnna Tom and husband Boyd, Dorothy Muir, and Dan Zuelke and wife Kathy, seven step-great-grandchildren, Derik and Dana, Brittany and BreAnna, and Eric, Josh and Taylor, one step great great-grandson, Zachery, and five cousins, Geraldine Moss of Pinckneyville, Betty Rea of Royalton, Margaret Dorsey of Du Quoin, Donald "Cotton" Brayfield of Du Quoin and Geraldine Stone of California.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: Emery Moss and Wilbert Moss.
	Funeral services will be held at Pyatt-Harrawood & Epplin Funeral Home in Du Quoin on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 1 p.m. with Reverend Silas Morgan officiating.  Interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, DuQ uoin.
	Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood & Epplin Funeral Home, Du Quoin on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8 a.m. until Services.
	Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church of Du Quoin, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
